      I had an interview with EdgeConnex that could use some improvements. The overall experience was quite underwhelming, mainly due to the interviewer's approach. The conversation felt negative and overly rigid, which made it difficult to evaluate my qualifications and experiences constructively.Throughout the interview, the focus was almost exclusively on why I left each previous role and what I would change about those experiences. This approach not only felt repetitive but also missed the opportunity to delve into my skills, achievements, and how my diverse background could contribute to the team at EdgeConnex. With my 8-year career spanning various roles and environments, I was hoping for a more dynamic and engaging discussion that would allow me to showcase my strengths and suitability for the position.The interviewer's demeanor was particularly discouraging. The interaction lacked warmth and felt excessively formal, almost to the point of being stifling. This is quite different from the more relaxed and open conversations typical in tech or startup environments, where a collaborative and innovative mindset is highly valued. Additionally, the interview left very little time for me to ask questions at the end. This limited opportunity to engage and learn more about the company was disappointing. An effective interview should allocate sufficient time for candidates to inquire about the role, team, and company culture. Furthermore, the interviewer did not provide any meaningful overview of EdgeConnex, which would have been beneficial in understanding the company’s vision and how the role fits into it.
