You meet with the search committee, then the program head, then the department head, then the dean, then the provost, and usually (evidently) with the president. You also have to do a teaching demonstration. Long day, but not super demanding. The university is unionized, so it makes fro some strange dynamics from the dean upwards. They want to get you on their side, and they also want to put down a line with newbies from the beginning, as they are trying to make tenure and promotion a bit more meaningful. The truth is, most people don't want to work at a school where it snows 140" a year, it's rural, the standards aren't high, etc. They want you more than you want them. And the people you meet are generally very nice.
