I went through two interviews. The first was a 30 minute Teams call with HR. The HR staff was far more knowledgeable about the position than I expected. They were very friendly. I mostly had questions about my background and why I thought I was a good fit for the job.
My second interview was scheduled for 45 minutes with one of the staff, not the hiring manager or whomever I would have worked for. This was another Teams call and we discussed my background, why I thought I was a good fit for the job, why I was leaving my current position, discussed my professional weakness a bit. The interviewer was very nice. They said if I made it to the next round I would have a "homework assignment" and a panel interview. There was no discussion of salary, benefits, etc.
The bad part was it took over three weeks for them to get back to me to tell me they decided to go with another candidate. That is fine, but there is no need to ghost interviewees for an extended period of time.

I got to the third round of the interviews for a remote consultant position. In the third round, they tried to switch me to an analyst position in Boston. After mentioning that didn't work because I don't live in Boston and my partner cannot move, I was told that I would not be a fit because of my lifestyle choices.
