I just recently finished my Edward Jones interview process. I thought I would share with the potential candidates about my experience and what to expect. It is a 2-3 month process consisting of multiple phone interviews, a business plan, and a "virtual day in the life" assessment. Although you can just look up this information on EJ's website, I'll hopefully present a positive reenforcement on what to expect.(1. On the phone interviews, just be yourself, show enthusiasm, and be positive. (2. For the business plan, I knocked it out in a few hours and had my friend proof read everything I wrote. The biggest factor that they ask is mostly how you would market yourself, so explain in depth of how you would do so. (3. "Virtual day in the life Assessment" is very nerve racking, but never give up during this process. Be ready to get rejected ALOT, but just keep being persistent:) In closing, the attributes that these recruiters are looking for are enthusiasm and positivity.
Domande di colloquio [1]
Domanda 1
Questions about 1. Team work 2. Persistence 3. Tenacity
Interview process first consists of numerous dinner events, all very laid back where you get to learn more about the company and the advisors in the region, and they get to learn more about you. If you keep getting invited back to dinners, consider it progress in the interview process. Honestly, the best, most effective interview process.

it's a series of interviews with people in the office then a full-day of simulating the role of the advisor where you're receiving calls from clients and team mates as well as receiving emails. As a career-changer, this was the part of the interview phase where I realized Edward Jones wasn't the right start to my career as a financial advisor and ended up going somewhere that invested in my growth rather than a "sink or swim" type of place.

Interview process is very lengthy. 6 steps, very in depth. HR screening, in person interview, 1 year plan, day in the life role play (3 hours long) where you had to call actors who were playing clients and prospects
