An external recruiter approached me for the role and having done my research I was pretty keen on joining Egnyte. I had an interview set up with the head of department. On arrival he was surprised he had not spoken with me before interview but proceeded. Interview went really well I felt and we had great conversation during it. At the closure of it I asked how I did and if I would be called up for next stage - to which I was assured I will be invited again and asked to meet the team.
I never heard anything back (even made attempt over LinkedIn), my recruiter did not hear either and eventually I got no answer from either parties.
Since then having checked on LinkedIn I feel Egnyte never recruited anyone for that role and could very well have shifted their focus on different positions. However, please at the least inform the candidate who had taken time out from his employer to come to visit your offices. I found that very unprofessional.

Explain the sales cycle behind your successful deal?
phone call with recruiter, phone call with team member, phone call with group head, then a software demo that you must build out along with a presentation. Feels like they are fishing for ideas, condescending in nature. They will waste your time.

The process was straightforward and aligned well with expectations for this level. There were around five stages, including a panel presentation as one of the key components. I also had the opportunity to meet with a team member, who provided insights into daily responsibilities and challenges, and answered any questions I had.

Colloquio
Interview was fairly standard, met with a few members of team, generally enjoyable discussions. 1 of the team I met was quite rude and arrogant, they seem to be a 1 off though.
