I met one of the audit partners at a event held by my school and connected with him on LinkedIn. He then forwarded me to a HR Manager who set up an interview with a partner. The process was sloppy and even the interviewer was changed at minute.

Had an on-campus interview with a tax manager and got an invitation for an in-office interview the very next day. The in-office interview consisted of 3 back to back interviews with a senior, associate, and another tax manager. After the interview, I was taken out for coffee by 2 associates. HR said they would get back to me within 1-2 weeks after the interview; however, they later emailed a week later saying 2-3 weeks. By then I already had an offer from another firm and told them to tell me Yes or No by a week.
