Got an email to set-up a phone interview within a week of applying. Phone interview stared out with standard interview questions ( what do you know about Elanco, why do you think you would be a good fit etc...) and was only supposed to be about 15 minutes. The person interviewing me asked if we could just have a conversation instead of playing 20 questions and the interview ended up lasting 30-45 minutes! One of the best phone screens I've had. It was nice to break down that "interview façade" that we put up and just have a real and frank conversation about my expectations and experience as well as the interviewers. I was contacted the next day to set up an in person interview for the following week. Interview was standard STAR format questions (name a time when..; how would you react if...) followed by another realistic conversation about pros and cons of working for an animal health company. I was very impressed with how much people cared about me personally, but also about the people they are servicing , as well as the quality of the service. They want to hire people who believe that Elanco has the best quality products and is the best place to work. Overall I was extremely impressed with the company and was as eager as ever to hear if I would be offered a position to work for such a great place!
