The interview involved people within the lab asking me a series of questions regarding my prior experience as well as questions regarding the field and my future plans. They listed out what i would expected to be doing on a day to day basis.

What scientific techniques have you used in the past?
The interview process involved a quick 15-minute zoom interview by a HR recruiter, followed by another zoom interview that was scheduled through email the same week of the phone screening.

I was scheduled for an initial phone screening. They asked basic questions like location, previous experiences, and was told they would reach back out for formal interview if they wanted to move forward.
Simple, informative, and succinct. I had a fairly good conversation that didn’t raise many red flags. Emory has a good onboarding process and background check that was easy to follow.
