Quick, informal chat on the phone to the internal recruiter to discuss my past work history followed by what's most important to me.
I then got invited to meet face to face with the internal recruiter Beth and her manager Kieran at the Energize offices in Didsbury. It then became clear that I wasn't yet ready to enter into recruitment. They both gave me good advice to go away improve my confidence, do more research and believe in my ability.
overall interview was good, I was made to feel at ease and the office is nice.
I'm still eager to get into recruitment and I appreciate the feedback.

Initially got rung by the Talent Specialist who was great and gave me a lot of preparation for the in person interview by the Senior/Principal Recruiters. The in person interview was also very insightful and helpful. I was quite nervous and the interviewer did a lot to calm my nerves. I did not end up getting an offer but the interview made me learn a lot on what to prepare for and how to calm my nerves. There were some questions that I did not expect as someone who has never been in recruitment before but I now know what to expect at other companies for this role. The experience was mostly positive, but the one thing that made me rank this interview neutral as opposed to good was that I was promised a response friday (interview was on thursday), and it took them until monday to give a response, I had to reach out myself to get a response, and there was no feedback in said response either. I asked for more feedback and I was ghosted, which was upsetting as this company heavily prioritises empathy, compassion and growth, none of which was shown at this part in the process.
