The interview process for the Account Director role was a positive and engaging experience. As it was an internal opportunity, the focus was largely on my current and past responsibilities, and how my experience could translate into the expectations of the new role.
The interview lasted approximately 45 minutes to an hour and was conducted in a friendly and conversational manner. The structure was clear — with the majority of the questions led by HR, focusing on competencies, fit, and experience alignment. Toward the end, the hiring manager asked additional questions, which provided a helpful view into their expectations and leadership approach.
Overall, the process felt supportive and professional. I appreciated the opportunity to reflect on my growth at Engage and share how I hope to continue contributing in a more strategic capacity.
