The interview process was fairly straightforward. Application, virtual interview, in-person interview.
That being said, it was frustrating to be called for an interview when it was clear they didn't think I had the background they needed. I am not sure if a better candidate came along later or if they hadn't read my resume before the interview, but they seemed shocked I didn't have a very specific background even though my resume made it very, very clear that I did not. Many of the questions were vague, and it was difficult to give an appropriate answer without all the information, something they themselves mentioned at multiple points.
Everyone was very nice, and I'm sure it's a lovely place to work. But it was clear from the onset of the second interview that I wasn't their ideal candidate and they did very little to hide that.
