      I applied online. About a month later a received an invite to for an "in person" interview via hangouts (I am in the US). It was safe to say the interview went well, as they asked to me complete an assignment for the next steps in the process. First off let me start by saying before I decided to do the assignment, I read the other two reviews, but still decided to see where it lead. Unfortunately, the reviews were spot on and in the end, made the it seem as though they aren't really looking to hire. The assignment was extremely lengthy with one part asking to develop a strategy. They gave me access to their analytics and I put something together that was very acceptable, but they told me they were not going to proceed with me because they wanted a more in depth strategy and someone who worked more in a fast pace environment. With that feedback, I got a second opinion from a mentor. We did laugh a bit about me not working in a fast pace environment, as she was my boss at the digital agency I told them about, where it didn't get any faster paced (if you worked at a digital agency with high profile/spend clients, you know exactly what I mean). But all in all, she said the assignment was a bit aggressive, but what I submitted was fair given strategies take a lot longer to develop and more information into the business facebook was need, but wasn't given. Unfortunately, the assignment made it a negative experience as to what they were looking for. I've taken plenty of assignments and also given assignments to potential hires, and the lengthy assignment was definitely more than a company should ask for and you would pay someone for what they wanted. My concern is, they should know if they want to continue with you from the one on on interview. They ask a lot of technical and thought process questions. So the reasons for not continuing the process after the assignment is a little sketchy.
