      I took part in a first round interview following a standard phone screen. Most of the interview was a case interview question related to the business, which I was unprepared for as the recruiter did not mention that it was going to be case based. Since I am interviewing with multiple other companies, I would not have had time anyway to do the proper research. And since I do not have industry experience, that puts me at a natural disadvantage. It seems like they prioritize your ability to solve riddles on-the-spot and industry knowledge. I asked the recruiter for feedback on the decision and she never replied. If they do not provide feedback, she could have at least afforded me the professional courtesy of letting me know that instead of just ghosting me. Unprofessional.

      Colloquio

      I interviewed with the hiring manager on Google Meets, but unfortunately, he did not seem very interested in talking to me. He was late, there was no conference room, and people were walking and talking in the background. To top it off, he was yawning throughout the entire interview. I considered asking him if I was boring him, but I hesitated, thinking that doing so might jeopardize my chances of moving to the next round of interviews. Despite my efforts, I was ultimately rejected.
