I applied online and then got an email asking me to schedule a phone interview the next day. The person in charge of the initial interview did not live in the city I was applying for, and it was nearly impossible to get a hold of her. I called a couple of times and finally just told her to call me when she got the chance. She called the next day and asked basic questions about why I wanted to leave my current job, basic things about myself, education, etc. Then she scheduled a one-on-one interview for the next week. The interview itself was not quite what I expected. Every questions asked was customer related. How have you dealt with an unhappy customer? What did you do to appease them? How do you get customers to continue shopping with you? Things of that nature. I didn't have any questions about the company, or how I would be a good fit, or what I could bring to the table. Enterprise's commercials brag about being the number one hiring company for college graduates no matter their major, but when I told her what my major was all she could do was tell me how unrelated to Enterprise it was. I may have just had an unfortunate interview, but the questions just seemed repetitive only worded differently each time. Overall, the interview wasn't difficult, the questions asked just didn't require answers that would tell the interviewer what kind of worker you would be.
