The manager that interview me was not very knowledge as to which questions to ask. He was fairly new and just kind of didn't know what additional things to ask. Although I am over qualified for the job and previously completed a MIT program with the largest Hospitality company in the world. I did not get the position. I do feel as though the demographics of where this position was posted had affect on the potential applicants that they would accept.

I applied online and was contacted about a week or 2 later for a video interview. I was told about the company and position and then asked some basic interview questions. They wanted specific situations that you actually had and how you handled them. Difficult customer, how do you organize and get a lot done etc. I gave, what I thought were great answers. Apparently not. I got the dreaded email today starting they would not be moving forward with me. No clue what they are actually looking for.
