I interviewed for an Account Manager role in West Palm Beach. I had seen a few negative Glassdoor reviews about their interview process, but I assumed they were just isolated experiences. After going through it myself, I realized they were accurate.
The process started with about a 30 minute phone interview that felt like rapid fire questions one after another. It did not feel like a real conversation or like they were trying to get to know me, more like they were working through a long checklist with no purpose.
After that, I had a long interview with the hiring manager, about an hour and a half, which actually went very well. He told me the next steps would be a ride along and then an in person interview (full day), so I genuinely thought I was moving forward.
About a week later, the recruiter reached out asking for my availability for the ride along and asking me to complete a DISC assessment. I completed everything the same day. After that, I didn’t hear anything. I followed up, and she didn’t respond until almost two weeks later, saying she had been out of the office and would check with the team.
A short time later, instead of any update or explanation, I received a generic rejection email. When I asked for any feedback or clarification, I got silence.
I fully understand companies pick other candidates. What was disappointing was being moved to the next stage, doing assessments, waiting for weeks with minimal communication, and then receiving a form rejection with no context. For a company that talks so much about integrity and people first values, the interview process did not reflect that at all.
