Very relaxed, MS Teams, panel of three interview. Questions on general strengths and suitability to the role and further capability-based questions, which were disclosed when the interview was confirmed. The definition and criteria of these capabilities are available to download from the EA website to allow decent preparation.

External company was used to provide interviews as big recruitment activity. Lack of representative from the Environment Agency made it feel like an odd process. Competency based questions plus a technical one as well.
