It was a phone interview with someone from Epic's technical services team but who also liked working with their human resources department. The conversation was very informal. The interviewer asked a few questions, then described the role of what technical problem-solvers do at Epic, and finally opened the conversation up to any questions I had. The whole process took about 30 minutes to complete.

The interview was fairly easy - asked about my education , why I wanted to work there, about myself, the usual. Was offered the technical interview a few hours after my phone interview. The technical interview was pretty difficult - a lot of math, pattern recognition, and faux code to analyze.

Applied directly at a career fair and was then asked to complete a technical exam online. The next step was a pretty informal phone screening, and then I was sent out for an in-person interview.
