The process wasn't clearly laid out before time. I was messaged by a recruiter on Handshake and applied having never heard of Epic. They require you to send your resume as well as your college transcript to start the process. Next, I took a personality assessment and a "logic" assessment. I thought I did bad on this as it was three hours long and I took it after a full day of classes. Although I thought I surely would not move forward, I was invited the the virtual introduction on zoom and then the "final round" interview process. I did not realize this was a "final round" until I logged in that day. It begins with an hour long intro to the company and then 30 minutes on the specific role you are applying for. Then we were further distributed into small groups and given a mock crisis scenario to work through and present our "solutions". Finally, you are asked to give a ten minute presentation on ANYTHING to a three person panel, one of which is your HR contact.
Although LONG, the process was thorough and at times enjoyable. The people you hear from are genuinely in love with their positions and Epic as a whole and it was very refreshing.

The process is very intense. Three or more hours of explanation, exams, and a presentation I had to create. The exams were both logic games and a personality test. I was preparing for weeks.

Explain a process that you find interesting. This can be any process - manufacturing, distribution of products, or a method to create something.
Not invested in who they're hiring if they rely heavily on multiple assessments for applicants to take (personality quiz, etc). These are unpaid and take hours. A poor use of time.

Intro zoom call, and several hours of tests on a lockdown browser before even getting to have the first ten minute phone interview. Phone interview was basically combing through my resume and any gaps.
