The recruiter was very nice. The hiring manager told me essentially that financial analysts are very plentiful and they are looking for someone that is very excited about the metaverse. Seeing as how I am mildly interested in the metaverse but not over the top enthusiastic about it, I'm not surprised I didn't get the role. They ghosted me instead of sending a rejection email though, which I always find a bit unprofessional. Also, the hiring manager emphasized that the job was not a normal 9-5 and could be up to 60 hours a week. Seems like a pretty good company overall and they are transparent about their expectations.
