The interview process took about three weeks from start to offer. I was surprised a big company moved swiftly in the hiring process. Everyone involved was nice and open. I really felt that I could be myself around them.

1. The recruiter no showed to FOUR (4) different zoom calls that she scheduled 2. During the 5th attempt via phone, she asked me to interview for a role that already had interviewees in the final stage, adding that the hiring managers were not pleased with any candidates so far 3. I interviewed with someone who was planning to leave the company that same week 4. I was told the next day that a final stage interviewee was selected This entire process was an absolute waste of my time. The irony is that the recruiter repeated frequently, “I’ve been a recruiter for X number of years and I don’t like to waste anyone’s time…” I understand that this is a challenging, employer market but let’s normalize tact and professionalism again.
