Had 4 interviews all seemed to go very well. In fact I had one person say I was head and shoulders above the rest. This was about 4 months ago, I ended up hearing nothing back. Even when I reached out to the recruiter 3 to 4 weeks after the last interview. She said some of the decision makers were on vacation. That was the last thing I heard. Communication on this opportunity was sub par at best. At this point it’s safe to assume I didn’t get the job, which is for the best - not sure I would have wanted to work with a company that can’t seem to communicate effectively anyway. Hopefully they will improve this portion of the process.

I applied Online and received the call from HR in a weeks’ time. In that call, he asked about my experience, why I am looking for a change, pay scale etc. He then moved me to another round. In the next round which was a group interview, I was being interviewed by group of team members from that team. They went into the details of what all situations I have handled, something on methodologies, budget, team management, motivation etc. Once I was done with this, then I moved to Hiring Manager interview where he was only interested to check my attitude and nothing else. He did that asking series of behavioral questions. Based on the discussion with the hiring manager, he proposed another opportunity to me then what I initially applied for. This new opportunity was not advertised as well and I liked that level of transparency. After that I was moved to stakeholder interview where I was talking to the business team and then they finally presented with the offer.

My interview process was relatively quick. Initial Phone screen with HR to determine fit and interest. Then a casual phone interview with the hiring manager to discuss previous experience, company culture, etc. In-person interview was shortly after the phone interview. I had 4 consecutive (one-on-one) interviews with various internal customers to my role. Standard behavioral-type questions.
