Applied online through geoscience careers page, then took an online test (pattern recognition) and a face-to-face interview with 2 HR personnel. Interviewers were very nice and welcoming. They made me feel at ease, and then asked me STAR-based questions for 30 minutes.

I applied for the Graduate Geophysicist position with Statoil in Norway. I went for the 1st interview in July 2009. I was called back for the 2nd interview in November. This interview consists of 2 parts. The first part mainly involved the competency-based questions. For the second part, I was asked to do a presentation on my Masters thesis.
