I was able to get an interview through an employee referral from a friend of mine. I interviewed with Beth Looker and Jimmy Conley on Microsoft Teams. The interview went well and asked standard questions throughout the process. Then at the end, I filled out an evaluation they emailed me. Most of the questions dealt with Windows Server so brush up on that before taking it. Unfortunately, after the interview I never heard anything back from them. Not even a "Sorry, we decided to proceed with another candidate". I sent a follow up email to ask what the status of the decision was, and I heard nothing back. I had a coworker of mine get referred as well and even he hasn't heard anything back. Really unprofessional to ghost someone, especially during a referral process. If I wasn't a fit for the job, then please send an email that says that. Not completely go silent.
