Had a couple of informal talks that led to a phone screen. Was brought in for a series of interviews. Questions ranged from design thinking to customer research tactics. Very heavy emphasis on testing and customer data.

Most difficult question asked how I would go about increasing customer acquisition in international markets.
Call with Etsy recruiter followed by an hour long call with the hiring manger. Did not hear anything back for 5 weeks. Recruiter reached out and said they wanted to go to next step. Had 4 interviews and then no word for 3 more weeks. Etsy states their goal is to keep commerce human but apparently they aren't trying at all to keep the hiring process human.

100% behavioral interview questions. I had 4 interviews and each had 3 behavioral questions. Many of the questions were the same which made no sense

Recruiter was very accessible and asked genuine questions about experience, why interested in role and company etc. There was significant delay in getting a clear update on next steps after multiple follow ups.

Recruiter screen, hiring manager interview, and then onsite. Recruiters are GREAT and so are all the other people. Hiring manager interview was mostly behavioral, plus a mini case (typical q like "design x for y") and onsite was 90% behavioral except an mini analytics case.
