Thank you for sharing your feedback. I understand this experience has been frustrating, and I apologise for the misalignment on our end. In this instance, the people team and the hiring team were not fully aligned on certain key requirements for the role, which we should have been. As soon as we realised this, we contacted you to cancel the screening rather than proceed with a call that might not have been the best use of your time.
To address a couple of your concerns: Decisions at each stage of our hiring process are based solely on suitability for the role and alignment with key requirements, and we apply these standards consistently with every candidate. Regarding communication, we aim to respond in a timely and respectful manner, allowing time for thoughtful consideration of all of the facts. I believe we have met this standard in this instance.
