I was contacted about 3 weeks after applying online for a phone interview with HR which was great. They explained the process which would include meeting with someone in the current position, a test if they felt my skills warranted one, and a panel with additional team members/managers. I was sent several presentations regarding Evidera's promotional pathways and benefits. I was also told by the HR interviewer that my statistics degree/skill set might make me a good candidate for more analytical positions. The HR interviewer scheduled an initial interview for me with a current RA3. The interview questions were regarding my experience with the position, and I had a few answers to which they responded, "Oh that's exactly what I do!" or "That's great, so many people don't understand this nuance." I thought it went well but it seemed really fast. The entire video conversation was 20 minutes including the last 5-10 minutes of me asking them questions. They were very informally dressed but took notes so not sure if in hindsight the informal attire should have clued me in. And that was that, I never heard back anything after my standard, same-day thank you follow-up email. I'm assuming they are no longer interested since it's been 3 weeks. Feels very strange since the interviews went so well and sent over so many documents. I've not had this experience in other job searches.

Had four interviews and a test. One is a phone interview with HR, one is a technical interview, one is an interview to discuss the test and the last one is a behavioural interview. The test was one hour and consisted of a critical review of a case-control study and a study design question. Not necessarily hard if you know your stuff. Everyone who interviewed me was really nice but it was glaringly obvious that some people did not possess the technical knowledge for the job. The interview to discuss the test felt like a mind game. Each one of my answers was counteracted with 'what if'. What if this isn't a limitation, what if you don't have missing data... When I asked the interviewer how they would approach the test questions, they got visibly flustered; didn't give a coherent answer and mostly parroted what I said. The biggest con was the lack of transparency during the interview process. Interviewers are not willing to discuss the role or the teams within the company. The job description on the website is very vague but I was asked detailed questions about very niche statistical techniques. If they are looking for a candidate with specific experience they need to state that before people waste their time. Finally, they told me I would hear back from them within a week but ended up ghosting me. Had to send an email enquiring about the outcome a month later, very unprofessional.
