      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. La procedura ha richiesto 8 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Evokes (Cincinnati, OH) nel mese di gen 2017

      Colloquio

They explain the process in the interview. This company will hire you and train you. The first year you are there there will be courses, in the operating room shadowing and exams. Once you have 150 cases and all your continuing education credits, they will pay for you to take the licensing exam. It takes about a year before you are licensed and flying solo. There is a small bump in your salary once you are licensed. They also explain that once you are licensed your contract is for 2 years. It’s non compete and 25K to break if you leave the company. They justify this by saying this is how we make sure we get the investment they made in you for your training back. So understand once you are hired you will be there for about 3 years before you can leave. Most staff leave after their contract ends, it’s a brutal lifestyle with not a lot of work-life balance. There’s a lot of turn over except for a few “favorites” that are treated much different than everyone else. They also explain the schedules. All surgeries start at 7:30am and you have to be at the hospitals by 6:30am. If you work in the Cincinnati Market- you can be assigned hospitals from Dayton/ CBus to Cincinnati and all the way to Louisville. Sometimes even Toledo or Lima. You will not know where you will be or how long you will be there until the evening before. Very hard to plan anything during the work week. They value promptness. You cannot be late for surgeries. Do not be late for interview. Overall the interview process was easy, but chaotic. People were coming and going with many distractions. It really does reflect the norm within this company.
