I applied online and HR called me to ask a few questions then proceeded to schedule an interview with the Product Team Manager. The interview with HR was pleasant.

The interview questions were typical for a product owner position.
Thanks for the call out about our conversation being pleasant :) so sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with us overall, we take feedback seriously at Exan, and can assure you that we've done a lot to improve since 2018. Doesn't mean we're perfect, but we sure can strive to be awesome when it comes to our candidate experience, no matter the outcome of the process.

It was interview right away after resume screening. They give you a “case” to work through and also asked behavioral questions. They guided me through the case when I got stuck but they also focused quite a bit on the user journey.
