Initially shortlisted based on resume. Then a technical interview. Asked questions based on basic electrical network and microcontroller applications. Asked to design a circuit for sending information from a sensor over a long distance. Needed to explain components needed.

The interview process for Exicom started with an online computer-based test. The shortlisted candidates were called for 2 technical rounds. At last, there was an HR round. The final result was declared at the end of all rounds.

Asked explanation for choosing answers to a few specific questions in the objective online test. They wanted to know the conceptual knowledge and the problem solving approach. Questions were asked from basic programming depending upon the language you opted for. There were questions from basics of analog electronics, power electronics and network theory.
