Interview was very informal. It took over 2 months after applying for he job to get called for the interview, then after the interview it took more than 6 weeks to be offered a job. The problem with them if you do get hired on a 90 day probationary status is that I was never told what the expectations were. They have very few formal training documents and the ones they do have are more or less restricted to legal requirements. They have no process documents for actually performing the job and rely on experienced workers training non experienced workers. I actually found it to be a joke when I was reading through orientation training documents. I read through them and signed them off, but I could have just as easily signed them off without reading them. Not to mention the fact that their document on training is a joke. It talks about certified trainers who can train people and when a person is trained in a certain area or skill the trainer and the employee are supposed to sign off on a training matrix. I have worked in other companies that had similar policies and training matrices. Exlar does nothing like what their policy actually states.
