I received a phone call from a District Team Lead in my area that asked me some pre-interview questions. After this, we set up a date and time for a WebEx Meeting, which is a webcam interview. This went well and was my DTL and I. After this, another WebEx was held to be interviewed by our District Manager. Finally, I was asked to stop by the actual property to meet the Store Manager ( the only other person I would be working with daily). It did take about a month and a half from the time that I submitted my resume till the time I was actually hired, but was worth the wait.

AI scheduled the interview but did not connect to manager. I waited on teams 3 separate days for them to straighten it out. After finally going through the entire interview process, I did not get the job.

Within the first 5 minutes of walking into the office to meet with the District Manager for the second interview I felt a lack of personal respect coming from him. During the interview his personal phone rang three times, each of which he would pause the interview to view the call but not answer or mute. After each interruption I did my best to continue but it was difficult because he also kept yawning and was clearly uninterested in anything I said. For example in multiple instances he referred to my previous places of employment by incorrect business names despite having my resume in front of him and I also correcting him, making it very apparent that he was not paying attention. I truly could not believe I was being interviewed about my customer service skills while being treated this way by someone who is supposed to be a shining example of good customer service within the company. The only thing that remotely seemed to draw any kind of interest from him was when he learned that I was bilingual. He also didn’t take a single note throughout the entire process, which is unusual based on my experiences of being interviewed. Overall the experience was frustrating and particularly disappointing because the initial interview I had prior to this one (this was the second interview for the position) was an extremely pleasant experience. The lack of respect for me and my time as an interviewee was shocking, I have truly never had an interview experience like this.

I completed a phone screen interview, process was quick between 15-20 minutes. A few basic introductory questions were asked as well as some more detailed work and experience related questions. I was then offered a second in person interview.
