The interview process at ExxonMobil was an overall positive experience from the candidate perspective. You're given the opportunity to expand upon the highlights of your resume and challenges you've encountered in your career and how you over came them. The format for the position I was applying for was a round robin type, with each interviewer focusing on either technical or behavioral types of questions. It was a real team environment and each interviewer gave feedback on responses, I never got the feeling it was just about asking questions to pass the time.

Describe in detail a specific standard and the variables used in a calculation?
Very long process from application to getting a reply from the Hiring Manager. Generally get computer generated replies in email. Very stringent processes, though have applied for a couple, still unable to get replies
The interview process was fairly standard overall. It started with a recruiter screen, followed by a hiring manager interview and a few conversations with team members. The questions were mostly behavioral with some role-specific discussion. Communication was decent, though timing between steps could have been a little clearer.
