Phone interview: Basic questions and just a formality. Make sure you ask questions so you fully understand the programme
Video Interview: Very weird and uncomfortable process, but the questions are very similar to the ones in the phone interview.
Assessment Centre: 3 sets of tests. Make sure you do your revision in Maths as I was not used to do all of this "basic" calculations without a calculator. Make sure you follow their guidance so you know in advance what the test is about. IT knowledge test is quite basic but make sure you know basic stuff like how many MB are in a GB, what does WWW stands for. There are also some questions that really evaluate your ability to understand basic coding and it might seem basic but there are some questions that some people just don't know. Venn diagram test is really interesting, but again, make sure you go through their guidance as it is really helpful.
Three 5 min interviews, just make sure you smile and show confidence. Make sure you back up your answers with examples.
I have completed my training and I am currently waiting for a placement. Make sure you know all the conditions of the contract, FDM is not for everyone. You need to be prepared to support yourself for the training and for possibly 90 days after your training. You can get a job when you are in training or just after you finish your training but depending on the market situation you might have to wait a long time after you finish training.
