It was basically my first interview with them and they started with asking me about my background which was technically explaining my resume to them. Then they asked me about the languages I use and I told them which languages I am comfortable with i.e. Java C++ Python Excel ... Then they asked me about my skills in software development . This part was a little bit unclear to me but I answered what I knew about data structure and algorithms (I just mentioned the name of the topics I knew and it was fine with them) Later they again asked me about the 2 year commitment and relocation (I explain them in the previous part). About the 2 year commitment they mentioned the job will start with a 12-14 weeks of training which is paid by minimum wage i.e. $15/HR , then the next 8 months is $50K and then it will increase . The salary compensation was as disappointed to me as I didn't follow up the rest of their plan for 2 years but I guess he mentioned their plan for the entire two years. He also told me the company will pay 4K relocation fee plus cost of the ticket in case I consider relocating. At the end they asked me why I decided to chose FDM. For the next step they sent me a link for the development pathway assessment which was included two parts, first a stream specific aptitude test (30 min estimated completion time) and second a video interview (20 min estimated time completion).
