Applied online and was asked to do a video interview. Given roughly 2-3 days to prepare. Video interview is an automated process where questions are asked through pre-recorded clips of FDM employees. Interview questions 1) What is your understanding of the FDM business model and how the Graduate Programme works? 2) What challenges are you looking for in your next role? 3) Can you tell me something in IT that you are passionate about? 4) It is your first day on site as an FDM consultant – how do you build rapport with your new colleagues? 5) Could you give me an example of a time when you had to overcome a problem to achieve a particular goal? 6) What transferrable skills have you gained from your degree that would make you a successful Business Consultant?

It is a four stage process first is a phone interview, a video interview, some psychometric tests that you do online attached to the video interview link and then the final stage is an assessment centre.

The interview process was extensive but overall a good test of my skills to see if I could handle the job. It was 3/4 individual interviews and aptitude tests for Maths & English.

An example of one was "Tell me a time when you had to work to a deadline"
Psychometric tests, video interview, face to face interview. Not difficult. Some sections are long and require concentration. That's to get in to FDM. Once you're in, you have to do the same to get in with clients.
