I applied online and was contacted about a week later by a recruiter to set up a 15-minute phone interview. The phone interview was pleasant and just asked about my background. A few days later, I received an email to set up a 60-minute interview with the hiring manager. The interview was interactive, and I was encouraged to ask the hiring manager questions whenever I had one. The beginning of the interview was focused on my background. The last half of the interview was a case study. I was rejected after the interview with the hiring manager for "lacking some basic fundamentals of predictive analytics" but was told the next step would be a technical interview followed by an in-person interview onsite with a presentation.
