The interview process was split into 4 stages: - Initial call with line manager (head of engineering) - Take home task - Technical interview talking through the take home task - Final interview with the CEO The process was enjoyable - the initial call was very clear with all of the details of the role and opportunity to ask any questions that I had. Take-home task was a significant amount of work, but was incredibly fun. I think if you enjoy the task then it bodes well for whether you'll enjoy the role/will be a good fit. Technical interview was mainly confined to questions around your solution. This is a great way to conduct a technical interview because it doesn't test your knowledge on arbitrary stuff, but rather on something that is clearly relevant and something you had time to prepare. Final interview with the CEO was more of an enjoyable conversation than an "interview". Ample opportunity to ask questions of your own. None of the questions were cheesy interview nonsense - just straightforward questions trying to get to know you and where you're coming from/what you hope to get out of the role. The interview process on the whole is good and should allow you an opportunity to get to know the people at Fyld (who seem really great!).
