Exactly what all of the other interview reviews say. Contacted the day after I applied with an automated email saying my background was "impressive", told to reply to the email or more specifically call back one of two phone numbers. They were impossible to reach, but I finally spoke with office manager and set one up a week out. I took it to see if what prior reviews said were really true.. Arrived and entered a remote/odd/sketchy building in LIC, go upstairs and there was blaring music and 15 other people awaiting interviews. I truly hate to say this, and perhaps I am just completely late to the party, but it was the same process/setup as all of these other companies falsely labeling job titles on LinkedIn and hiring in the masses for a scammy-ish work environment. There is no such thing as "sports marketing and promotions". I wasn't even asked questions - one component on my experience on my resume was asked about and it was regarding my first internship(??)), and I continually asked questions to give myself even SOME form of an idea of what it is they're hiring you for. I could not, repeat, COULD NOT get a straight answer. I couldn't even believe what was going on. I am in utter shock that methods like these even work to lure people in. Another team member sat in on the 'interview' in silence, taking notes on my personality/aptitude... So, in short, you're being hired for one of two roles: event 'coordination' or outside sales. Regarding the outside sales role, their primary client is "Verizon", and you are expected to start entry level to earn your keep with a projected growth trajectory into roughly 3-6 months to become a 'manager', whatever that means. I only take the time to write this with common courtesy for you future interviewees. Do not waste your time. I am sorry to write it, but it's true.
