My first interview was on the phone with someone from HR answering generic questions that a hiring manager had provided. The second interview was on the phone with the hiring manager. The third interview was in-person and lasted for 2.5-3 hours, where I met with individuals and then performed a whiteboard exercise in front of a panel.
For the whiteboard exercise, it was very uncomfortable. The team made it clear they had never given a whiteboard test to candidates for that type of role before, and it showed. The questions were very vague to where they didn't seem to know what they were looking for in an answer.
While a majority of the interviewers/employees were very pleasant to be around, one specifically (who was in a high position at the company) was very unprofessional (use of aggressive language and late to the interview), which led me to withdraw my application for the role.

I never thought I was the right candidate for another corporate job but I decided to take the chance and see what this company has to offer for the future Senior UX Designer.
First, they contact me through LinkedIn (new strategy), it took only a couple days to ask for a screen phone interview (weird), seems they don't research candidates before an interview. It's the second time they contacted me through LinkedIn and request for screen phone call. They do not personalize the thank-you emails after a candidate made time for them. I remember I had to cancel a lunch with friends that afternoon.
