Colloquio
Was only contacted to do two 1:1 phone interviews that were each very brief. These were each more like an initial screening, both with different teams to see where fit might be better. I thought the first went awful, and the second went okay. I was pretty shocked to get the offer!

Big red flags with Faithlife as discovered through the interview process:
1. They don't respect their candidates time.
2. No proper hiring process in place.
3. Incompetent consultants/managers.
4. Pushy requests for candidates to break their NDAs.
5. Poor process for product development.
Recruiter reached out 5 times. After the persistent follow up I agreed to speak with them.
Call with the hiring manager, who was very nice, but turned out not to be the hiring manager, but another person on the team... who was leaving. Unfortunate, because in my entire experience of dealing with this business, she was the only one I spoke to who seemed to understand the company - and the concepts of marketing in general.
Call with the exec over Marketing, I initially took it as a positive sign when it went over the 2-hour mark (we were scheduled for 1 hour), but that also shows a lack of respect for your candidates time and a lack of experience in proper interview skills and organization. Exec ended the call asking me to have an interview with their team consultant, and then a follow up in-person with her.
Call with the consultant--turned out to be the CEO's consultant. The consultant spent the majority of the interview boasting about previous career accomplishments. But also detailed how they decide to build a product at Faithlife - she wanted to make it clear that all products came out of the CEO's head and then they were built -- in other words, no modern product development process is in place at Faithlife.
None the less, the marketing exec confirmed me for the follow up. This ended up being the most bizarre interviews I've ever been in. The consultant ended up joining us as well. She then took over the interview and the next hour or so were spent with the consultant and the exec battling to talk over each other. It was very uncomfortable. It only got worse when they asked me questions pushing me to violate NDAs that I had from previous employers. I tried to explain the limitations and answer where I could. But they were asking for specific details that should not have been necessary to determine if I could do the job I was being interviewed for.
After 8 hours of interviews, they then asked me for a full marketing plan project built for them specifically. In other words, free work. This was all before additional on-site interviews were to occur. When I questioned the process, they decided they no longer were interested in me as a candidate -- which was fine, because I had serious concerns about how they run their business.

Phone screen, in-person, another in-person group interview. Unorganized group interview, everyone seemed on different pages and was hammering out questions. Seemed extremely scattered and conducted unprofessional hiring practices. Wasn't impressed at all.
