Once you apply you'll get a call from someone from HR. You will meet with a Rig Superintendent who will feel you out. He didn't ask me much just asked why I want to work on a rig and some questions about my past. After you'll have to go though a drug screening which includes urine and hair. They will find out of you have used drugs within the last year. If all checks out you will then go though a physical and a fitness exam. The physical is normal physical as you would get with your normal doctor. After you will go though a fitness test. Which includes push-ups (35 for my age ) sit ups (27 for my age) and they will check your resting heart rate then have you push and pull 70 lbs a few times across carpet and check your heart rate again. Also will do the same but with 60lbs up and down stairs.

Luke, Dan, and Ron all will be in the room during the interview. you will be asked some questions about yourself but thats really it. Just make sure they like you, and you will definitely get the job no matter how unexperienced you are, You dont even need a HS degree
