I had a 20 minute call with the recruiter for a social media position that I'm 100 qualified for where he spent 15 minutes of the call telling me in explicit detail about how hands on he is as a recruiter and how I will never have to guess where I stand in the interview process and that he would email me so much with updates that I would get sick of him and that he will update me every step of the way. I was so wowed by his process and told him what a great system he had. Two days after my initial call with the recruiter, I had my interview. I followed up with the recruiter right after and thanked him and I have received complete radio silence. It's kind of comical to me that he spent 85% of the call talking about how different his recruiting process was and how absolutely hands on he is just to be completely ghosted. Feeling like my time was wasted and there is a lack of respect for candidates
