Colloquio
Two rounds of interviews.
The first round was a semi-technical interview with two managers over video call. They mainly asked about background, experience, expectations and availability. Around 30 minutes for round one.
The second round was a coding interview in the office. They had 5 very easy coding problems which included C#, Javascript, HTML/CSS, and SQL. I was allowed to use google, and I finished all questions in less than an hour. Then we discussed more specifics about the role. Round two was around 2 hours total.
They also asked about salary expectations They clearly thought I was asking for too much, even though Troy is an expensive area (in MI) and I already had an offer from another company which came close to my expectations.

The interview process began with a standard HR screening. The recruiter briefly covered the role but didn’t ask many questions about my background. This was followed by an online technical assessment (Mostly SQL, very easy). The process felt disorganized. I received numerous follow-up emails afterward that could have been covered in the initial interview.

First interview was non-technical over the phone with interview with recruiter. That was followed up with a code test on coderpad.io which was extremely easy. Lastly was an on-site interview with the recruiter, two developers, and fourth person (manager/director?). But the entire interview was just rapid fire technical questions from the two developers. It was a fairly easy interview, though I believe better questions could have been asked about my experience or personal projects rather than how a bitmask is stored (which I did answer correctly). For example they explained how they are currently undergoing a code rewrite from .NET framework to .NET Core and they did not ask about that even with it listed on my resume from my current employer. Also the job listing mentioned Angular and I was asked zero questions about Angular.
