I was contacted by an HR recruiter about a month or two after initially applying for the position. I was brought out to the plant to take an industry standardized test and their own company math test. The math test is a little bit difficult, especially for those that do not take it seriously. They provide a thorough study guide to prepare you for it so it is pretty fair. They booked a hotel for me, paid by the company, and reimbursed me for mileage, food, and other travel expenses for the testing and the interview. The interview was with the department supervisor only and followed the standard STAR (situation, task, action, result) Q&A format. I received their decision two weeks later.
