A good interview process with relevant questions, opportunities to expand upon topics and liberal room for questions from applicant. The job description was not left, necessarily, vague, but rather open for the applicant to ask pointed questions that showed the applicant knew their fundamentals for a position similar to the one they had applied. I thought this was a clever method -or possibly a lazy one. Judging by the interviewer, as a whole, I landed on 'clever.' I was very glad to have researched the company and sampled several situational questions beforehand. I was told, specifically, that I would hear one way or another by a certain date. I wrote a 'thank you' email within one hour of interview's conclusion. The date approached and I wrote an email the day before I was to receive and answer. The email offered up myself as a continued, interested candidate and available for any additional questions. The 'answer day' came and went. A week later, I called the interviewer and left a voice mail stating that I was still interested in the job and wondered what the current status was. I asked for correspondence (email or call) telling if the position had been filled. Nothing. Months have passed and I never even got a denial letter. Ultimately, this was a disappointing experience.
