I had a phone interview with the HR department. As an initial interview, it was not very technical and it was mostly based on job expectations and personality. I rated the interview process as negative because the HR person said that she would let me know within a week if Flanders would move forward with the hiring process. It has been two weeks and I have not received any information. She also said that if I had any questions, I could call her. I left her a voice mail and she never responded. It is unprofessional to say you are going to do something and then fail to do it. If she had simply said that they only get back to candidates that they are moving forward with in the hiring process, then I would have given Flanders a positive rating on the interview.
