I clicked right away with the team manager, and she even swore in my initial interview. It didn’t much bother me, but what did bother me was the fact that they offered me a position on a Friday, sent over the paperwork and asked me to turn it in on the following Monday. On Saturday at around 10pm, I happened to check my personal email to find an EMAIL to tell me they were retracting their offer because they decided to go in a “different direction”. I requested a phone call, however I never heard from the CEO/COO again. Thank goodness I hadn’t quit my job yet. Word of advice? Grow a pair if you are going to make redacting employment offers a general business practice.
Thanks for the feedback. We appreciate the honesty, good or bad. Sometimes, things just don't work out and we all have to move on. But we wish you well in your job search and hope you found the perfect new job!
