I was a vendor prior to starting work with the company and was hired without a formal interview process. Local contact made the decision to bring me on without formal interview and upper management signed on to the hire wit out a direct interview.

Not a difficult process. Standard pre-requisite test to study ones personality. Next the interview process. Standard questions based on experience, how you can be an asset to the company, where do you see yourself in 5 years, etc.

Colloquio
Interview went well. Interviewer and I had worked at a previous site at the same time. He asked good, specific questions; offered insight and presented himself in a first class manner.
