November 2022 - Applied online, January 2023 - Contacted by HR rep to schedule video interview, which included the hiring manager along with the departments' current 2 staff members (I was not expecting the interview to include everyone). The following day I was contacted by HR and asked to respond to an email which had been sent to me which included a writing assignment to be submitted within 7 days to proceed in the interview process. I am very cautious in creating content for employers, especially so early in the process. To gauge their process, I asked the HR rep to clarify if all screened candidates were asked to complete the writing assignment or if the assignment was directed to a smaller group. I did not receive a clear response, but decided to pull something together to submit. February 2023 - about 3 weeks after the initial interview, I completed a second round with the same three staff members. I did not receive any further communication and opted to not follow up after accepting an offer for a more attractive opportunity.
